Is media ruining relationships?

What's your relationship status? Making your life public is a choice we now have. Remember when the only people who knew your relationship or home status were close friends and family? Now with the help of social media along with so much public information. Now, any and everybody can have an opinion on your life.

With the boom of social media, it seems as though everyone feels entitled to know the inner workings of private relationships. We now have access to people and things that we never had before. With all of the technological advances in the world, I believe we lost a sense of privacy. The standard that we used to hold only public figures to... We now tend to look at our “Facebook, Instagram or twitter” friends with that same judgmental eye.

Relationships are hard even behind closed doors away from public opinion. Putting the stress of public scrutiny can render any relationship irreparable. The fact of the matter is... everyone has skeletons; everyone deserves to have some privacy. No one is entitled to know everything about your life. Just because you question something, does not mean you deserve to have an answer.

In all honesty, it’s up to you and your family on what you decide to make public… No one has to live your life but you!

My prayers go out to the Stewart family.
