Newest additions to the Makeup bag
With the fall season approaching I decided to add a few good
products to my makeup bag. In effort to switch out my cool summer colours for
that of a warmer tone, I decided upon a few glosses and a few good
bronzers/blush pallets.

Hairspiration & Hair Anniversary
I look like I'm "Working at the Pyramid tonight" hunni!
As many of you know I’m on my natural hair journey. With all
the joys of having healthier, natural hair also comes a few down points. This
month is my actual hair-anniversary I’m going into my second year post
transitioning for about a year. I’m sure many of naturals have gone through
that awkward hair moment when your one twist-out away from ending it all and
getting back on the creamy crack. Don’t get me wrong… I love my natural curls
but the convenience that comes with relaxed hair is nice. So after months of
braids and protective styles I wanted to celebrate my hair anniversary with my
natural hair pressed as a way to mark my journey.

TCA Peel before and after
Sorry for the delay, I have been super busy. I completed my first TCA peel on ears about a week ago and I'm just now getting around to putting it up on my blog.
As you can tell from the photos, the peel gets worse before it gets better. I hope you guys find this to be helpful.

TCA test
My TCA came in the mail this week and I am too thrilled! Before I do my entire face, I decided to test my ears. I will not lie to you guys... this stuff burns. I should see results in 8 days.

To B or not to B?
The topic of Botox and Fillers used to be taboo, now just about all of your favorite celebrities (and more than likely, the cute chick next door) have had a little bit of something done. It's so common, I don't even think it's considered "plastic surgery" anymore... more like a quick tune up.
Living in Los Angeles. I can
most certainly tell you there is pressure to look your best! No scratch that…
You must look better than your best. Seriously. It’s like every beautiful
creature on earth decided to move to LA and make his or her dreams come true.
With all that unnecessary pressure, it’s no wonder people turn to other remedies
that are less than natural to say the least.

not one flaw
In my humble opinion… I’m all
for a little injectable… a discrete little nip/tuck never hurt anyone. What you
do to keep your beautiful glow or sexy skin is nobodies’ bidness. After all,
it’s all about what makes you feel your best. Confidence is always sexy!
Side Note: Botox has now been approved by the FDA to treat chronic migraines. I just gave you the excuse you were looking for. Now go out there and be great!

Knock it off!
I absolutely despise cheap looking Sh*t!!! Whether it be cheap looking Weave, Shoes, Clothes, Belts or Bags... There simply is no reason for it. Listed below are a 2 common fashion faux pas I see everyday.
1. You know you cant fit that...
No matter how expensive this belt is (If it's real) the whole fit made it look like it wasn't worth more than 2 bucks. Ill fitting clothing is a sure way to make ANY outfit look less than stellar.
Kim is wearing a very similar belt paired with a basic white collared shirt and jeans.
The fit makes a world of a difference.
2. Bad weave
Hell to the NO!

If you really want a certain texture of hair but you're not really sure that your hair will blend in with the weave... Maybe you should try a closure.
![]() |
I really like the Lace closures... They look like the hair is coming right out of your scalp. Be careful with the install. You don't want it to come off looking too fake.
Im sure we all have had a fashion miss-hap once or twice... I believe in sharing things that I learn with others, in the hopes that others would share wonderful things with me. I hope some of you find this post useful.

Sexy Saturday
VS Pro Illuminator
I love this stuff girls! You can mix it with your foundation for an all over glow or use it as a highlight on your lips, eyes, and nose. It's a Victory Secret in the beauty section for about 15 bucks. Try it out and let me know what you think.

This is me with just a pea size drop of VS Pro & face moisturizer. I use this when I want a nice even glow with no makeup... The dewy look is always in style.
This is VS Pro as a highlighter... a bit on the nose, cheeks and Cupid's bow for a natural glow.
LOVE IT!
