Las Vegas Wrap Up

With only a few short months left in my Las Vegas stay I decided to share a few of my favorite lunch, dinner and happy hour spots that may be a bit off the beaten path. My lust for life tends to take me out of the heavily frequented spots along the Las Vegas strip to the places the locals tend to hang. I must say I was very impressed with wide selection Las Vegas had to offer practically hidden in plain sight.

Lunch

NM Cafè
If you’re anything like me, you can work up quite the appetite in between credit card swipes at the mall. If this too is you, the café at Neiman Marcus is just your stop. Packed with Fashionable shopper's and ladies who lunch alike. NM café happens to be one of the best kept secrets in Las Vegas for lunch or a quick cocktail all while doing a little shopping. Neiman Marcus is conveniently located inside of the Fashion Show mall.

The Country Club at the Wynn
This has to be one of the most scenic restaurants on the strip because of the wonderful views of the waterfall and 18-hole at the Wynn world-renowned golf course. The view is so perfect you almost forget that you’re literally right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the strip. Open for lunch and dinner, the country club is known to attract the "Whose Who" of Las Vegas with a well versed crowd of Steve Wynn’s personal friends known to make the Country Club a must do during their stays in Las Vegas. I hear Mr. Wynn’s personal Villa is quite close to the Country club so it is no surprise to see him pop in for a bite to eat every once in a while. If you have the time, please treat yourself to a jazz brunch on Sundays. With items such as Gumbo, Crab Legs and Creole Shrimp this New Orleans themed brunch is my absolute favorite brunch in Las Vegas.

Happy Hour

RA Sushi
Sushi lovers please treat your self to great sushi at a great price inside Fashion Show mall. Happy Hour is from the hours of 3-7 with a reverse happy hour from 10- midnight.

Tommy Bahama at Town Square
Located inside the Tommy Bahama store at the Town Square Shopping Center. The restaurant version of the cool breezy Tommy Bahama brand is a super chill happy hour for visitors and locals alike. The location is a bit of a drive down the strip but if you can make it out that way, I’m sure you would love the laid back environment right in the middle of all of my favorite mall stores.

The Pub at Monte Carlo
If you’re a beer lover this Pub is the place for you. This sports bar houses hundreds of beers so this is actually a good spot to catch a game year around. For visitors happy hour kicks off from 3pm-6pm Monday-Friday with prices ranging from $3-$6 for drinks and appetizers. I you’re a Las Vegas Local, You can enjoy the perks of happy hour 24hours a 7-days a week.

Sushi Roku at The Forum Shops
If you’re in the mood for more of a high-end sushi experience, I recommend Sushi Roku. Located at the very top level of The Forum Shops. Once inside the tranquil feel and great quality sushi at discounted happy hour prices will be sure to lighten your mood.

Dinner

The Foundation Room Mandalay Bay
Overlooking the entire Strip, The Foundation Room has to be one of best dine, drink and play experiences in Vegas. This House of Blues spot is typically reserved for members only, with locations in Atlantic City, Dallas, Boston, Los Angeles and many more areas in this country as well as international. The many perks and locations throughout the world are reason enough for you to want to purchase a membership, but remember… you’re in Vegas. With just the right call from the concierge of your hotel you too can experience a delightful dinner, amazing drinks and party all night the sounds of their world class DJ playing all of todays hits.

Charlie Palmer at The Four Seasons
If you’re in the mood for a classic steak and great company, I highly suggest you dine at the Charlie Palmer steakhouse at the Four Seasons Hotel. Most that travel to Vegas have no idea that we have a Four Season Hotel located right on the strip. With all the classic decadence of a Four Seasons the bar at Charlie Palmer is a go-to hangout for M.A and myself. A quick tip… Please be sure to ask for the cut of the week. The cut of the week is a special meal not featured on the menu but it consists of a salad, the chefs weekly cut of steak a side and a glass of wine all for $49.00. You will thank me later.

Be sure to check out my "Fab Resturant Finds" and "My Happy Ladies Section" I will be releasing a Happy Hour and Restaurant Guide of all my favorite spots throughout the country before Summer. I hope you all enjoy!
