Style File: Kendra's Fashion Challenge Vacation to Epcot

When I received the email from Kendra Thorton this week I was shocked and over whelmed to say the least. For those that do not know who Kendra is let me briefly fill you in. Kendra has been featured as a travel expert on TV shows across the country. This amazing momma of 3  has made regular appearances on ABC, NBC and CW networks in major cities such as Los Angeles, New York and Chicago. Kendra’s Fashion Challenge is centered on her upcoming family vacation to Disney’s Epcot Center in Orlando Florida this spring. In planning her upcoming getaway, Kendra found many helpful Orlando reviews on Gogobot. Gogobot is a new travel site that provides helpful information on various travel destination throughout the world. I will be using this site in the near future for my families upcoming trips. In this challenge, I am to create a daytime look appropriate for Kendra to roam the famously family friendly grounds of Epcot with her hubby and 3 children.

I love a good high and low so with that being said I decided to make a fun easy going daytime look keeping in mind the fashionista momma on the go.  As we all know ladies it can be a task juggling life, family and our careers but there is no reason why we can't look absolutely FAB while doing all of the above, OK!
*Snap, Snap*

 Luxury Momma on the Go

While walking in a crowded park with your family, what on earth would be more comfortable and stylish than a cotton romper? Rompers are in this spring and they are on all of the top designers runways. I find it more practical for our mommas on the go splurge on classic pieces. My reason behind this fact is that I believe a good bag, a nice pair of sunglasses and precious jewelry will last a lifetime and hardly ever go out of style. While that romper may be in style for the next few seasons, you may not want to splurge on something that will be in today and out tomorrow.

No splurging on trendy stuff!

Look Break-down

This yellow Venus Romper only sets you back $29.00 at Venus.com.

As I stated before… don’t be afraid to splurge on classic items like bags and Sunglasses so treat your-self to a nice pair of shades. These Aviators by Louis Vuitton ring up at $605.00 on Louis Vuittion.

Epcot center is not a walk in the park… lines for the attractions can be hours long and the Florida sun can be a bit much so Splurging on this Valentino Spring Studded Tote makes perfect sense. You can keep all of the treats and trinkets you need for a long day at the park all while looking like the hottest momma at Disney. This Bag is fresh off the runway so prices have not been made public yet but I did a bit of research and similar bags go for about $2,785.00. In the mean time you can check this bag out at Valentino.

Keeping in line with my high and low theme up next to beat the heat I suggest a nice pair of Aldo Sandals. These gold “Dolea” Sandals are only $60 at Aldo.

If you’re anything like me you NEED to have on some jewelry.  You may want to keep it low key and not pile on the bling, so layer up with a Cartier Love and a few Evil Eye bracelets to add just that right touch of arm candy while you hop around the park with the kiddos. This look can be a bit pricy with the Cartier piece starting at around $10,000 for one piece but you could always swap that piece out for a few less costly pieces.

With spring upon us and Summer right around the corner I hope some of you "Luxury Mommas on the Go" find this style file helpful. Happy vacationing!
