For those of you that have
never seen the documentary “Queen of Versailles” you are truly missing out.
After watching this movie 3 times, I have to tell you… so many lessons were
learned. I will not give it away, but trust and believe, the fall from grace can
be a long and painful ride. Basically the movie start’s out as a documentary
detailing the lifestyle of mega rich billionaire David Siegel and his Beauty
queen wife Jackie.
During the height of their financial success they were on track to build the largest single family home in the country. With other notable moments such as David stating that he “single handedly got George Bush elected President” of the United States. After taking a financial hit during the economic down turn, this documentary follows the Siegel’s through their ups and downs. I have personally learned so much from this movie. Not just a lesson in financial planning, but also love, values, family, friendship, perception and reality.

Treat yourself to a very
entertaining movie night April 29th on Bravo. I’ll be watching for the fourth
time.
